Super easy and safe to use. Reconditioned one car battery and charged it. Idea was to merely replace a 40 year old Sears charger, this was a terrific upgrade. Well worth the price. Will recon a second battery this summer to extend it a bit. Superb as a jump starter too. Update: reconditioned a 4 year old battery a few days ago, as vehicle continually would go into battery saver mode–problem is fixed. I am hoping to get another year out of the battery.

I’ve trusted Dewalt for years, but this experience has me seriously rethinking my loyalty. I used this product in the morning, followed the manual’s instructions, unplugged it, and put it away. A few hours later, it was completely dead—wouldn’t turn on at all. I checked the outlet, tried everything, but nothing worked. I’ve used it the exact same way dozens of times, so this failure makes no sense.
What’s even more frustrating? The warranty is only a year—conveniently just long enough to avoid covering this kind of failure. That speaks volumes. Up until this, I thought it was a solid product, but now I’m left questioning the quality of all my Dewalt tools. I never expected to say this, but I wouldn’t buy this!

Light weight with solid state and a cooling fan that moves air across the system with great flow to keep her cool and have a long life.
Also the cables for charging are just the right length and the chassis sets well with rubber bumpers to keep from slipping and non marring to finish of surfaces.
Analyzes charging system and battery life along with acting as a float charger.
A must have for anyone with battery start engines and equipment.

This is a fantastic battery charger, it has great features and works very well. They have improved the On button, the old one could break, because it was hard to tell when it was on. That was the only problem I had with the first one. Yes, this charger is so good, I bought a second one. One keep as a charger in my garage and the second use as a trickle charger on a car in storage. These chargers work great at both tasks. The display will also show how the battery is taking the charge, which makes it easy to stop a dead battery that is never going charge. I also highly recommend TOPDON BT200 100-2000CCA battery tester which will read the percentage of battery life left, letting you know in advance that a battery is going to die on you. Have been stranded a few times on the side of the road due to a dead battery. I have a Honda with a 7 year old battery, rated for 8 years, the tester rated it still at 100% which means it still has years to go. Nearly 3 years in the garage during Covid is what probably extended the battery life, but otherwise I would have needlessly replace a perfectly good battery. The charger and the tester, work well together to keep your batteries working and letting you know when it is getting to be time to replace them.

We bought this to jump off our boats after a winter of being on dock. Worked ok. The battery life was a little short but very easy to use and the size makes it super portable
