My 2013 Hyundai Elentra, which I had replaced myself, now runs smoothly. Before the replacement, it would start hard, but now it turns on instantly.

I was very skeptical buying this non oem part. Considering the oem part from the dealer costs over $130 and this part was about $25 I figured it seemed too cheap to be legit. But since the crankshaft position sensor is pretty easy to get to and replace I figured I would give it a try. After all, if the oem parts are so great why did the original fail in the first place? Anyways, swapped this one in and it resolved my P0335 code, no further issues with car not starting or going into limp home mode ever since, and so far after a month or two I’m quite satisfied. Glad I tried this non oem part and saved about $100.

My son’s 2011 Hyundai Elantra wasn’t throwing a code; however, it was showing all the symptoms of a bad crankshaft position sensor – excessive cranking when starting, tachometer sitting at zero while the engine is running, difficulty starting when the engine was warm, etc. This DEVMO Crankshaft Position Sensor resolved all the issues once installed. I didn’t even have to change anything other than the part itself – 1 screw/bolt (10mm – and you need to reuse it when you install the new sensor), remove the sensor and disconnect the wires then reinstall the new one, tighten the screw/bolt, reconnect the wires and you are good to go! The installation itself took a minute or two; however, it took 10-15 minutes to remove the old parts since everything was difficult to reach and rusted, etc. So far, I am very happy and couldn’t recommend it more. I hope it lasts!

Part worked flawlessly. Was super easy to install. Great price and fast shipping. Would buy more parts from this seller.

My son’s 2014 Veloster Turbo started running very rough and started going into limp mode merely a few weeks after we bought it. We found out the previous owner had had some intermittent issues when they traded it with very low mileage. We tried replacing the PCV valve (which was gummed up), and main MAP sensor. The car idled a bit more smoothly and took longer to go into limp mode when driving. However, once the car warmed up to normal operating temps, it would still go into limp mode and lose nearly all power. After more research, found out this is a common sensor that frequently fails on Velosters as they age. Bought this one, had it in 2 days. The sensor is located just behind the oil filter in the bottom of the engine block. It literally took five minutes to pull out the old one and put in the new. The hardest part is getting the vehicle up high enough to access this. I would highly recommend a lift or very long and tall ramps to get under a Veloster! Hope this review helps you diagnose and fix this issue without spending the $400 the dealers want to replace it!!!

Ceci a réglé mon problème sur mon Kia Rio 2013. Fait parfaitement comme celui d’origine.

This sensor was so easy to install and replaces the OEM part exactly. My car had trouble starting, like it was trying to turn over but wouldnt and the rpm wasnt registering. So, I was getting an error code when diagnosing it, and it said the Crankshaft position sensor needed to be replaced. Installed the new part, started the car with no problem, then ran the diagnostic again, and perfect, no error codes.
