After fighting strut noise for 6 months and changing everything else that may make the noise I stumbled across this cheaper option. After installing it did not fix the noise so I marked it off the list as the cause.
Uodate: Upon further inspection, if I have kept this in the car for just a little bit longer, probably would’ve exploded within the vehicle.
Once I finally cleared the list of potentials I took this strut off to find shavings and a misaligned tip nut.
