Seth Haskins –
Worked great…. Loved the price
Chelsea K. –
The kit is mostly ok, but the upper control arm holes are huge compared to the bolts, this make for some nasty clunking on the trails.
Darryl Jackson –
All parts fitted perfectly and easily on my 2000 TJ, apart from the track control arms were missing which the vendor quickly shipped out

After ordering a complete set of ball joints, linkages, etc, I disassembled my Jeep. I made the mistake of blocking my shop door with the Jeep, expecting that the parts would arrive on time, or even a day, or a week late…. But no, they finally shipped the parts a week after I ordered them, and the tracking showed that the parts were at the nearby FedEx depot 300 yards from my shop. Then suddenly they were rerouted to New Mexico. I called FedEx, they told me the company had rerouted my shipment somewhere else. I called Detroit Axle’s customer service, they told me it was my fault, because I had canceled my order (I didn’t), except they had clearly sent my order to a different customer. I asked them to send my parts again, since I had paid for them and all, and their customer service representative agreed. I waited another week, and received one single random ball joint for a vehicle that was not mine. I called their customer service number AGAIN. Their customer service representative told me I had clearly received my order, because the new tracking number showed as delivered, and I explained the part I had received, provided the part number, and this representative insisted this was exactly what I had ordered, when I had definitely ordered a complete set of parts for my Jeep Wrangler, not just one, and not for a Mazda. After proving that the package they had sent only weighed one pound, and sending several pictures at their request, the representative still refused to acknowledge that I hadn’t received my parts.
•
I then asked to speak to a supervisor, and after fifteen more minutes of waiting, a man whom introduced himself as a supervisor got on the line, and I explained the situation to him, the sixth or seventh person I had to tell this story, and I asked that the proper set of parts I ordered *please please please* be expedited, because I had already waited a month for them, he refused, and I told him that I would need a refund. He told me I wouldn’t be getting an expedited order or a refund, so I told him that I’d just dispute it with my credit card and/or Amazon if he wouldn’t help me out.
•
The last thing he said before I hung up: “Go ahead, we will fight that too, you will never get your money back.” And they never did give my money back, Amazon did, five weeks after I was ripped off by Detroit Axle.

If anyone needs a ball joint for a Mazda 5, HMU.
