There is no foam on the bearing plates, so expect noise! When I contacted the seller, they suggested the issue was in the installation. My husband is a mechanic and has installed struts for decades, so I knew better. We just got struts from RockAuto and they are much better quality and have foam on the bearing plates just like the originals. Quiet as a new car. Worth the extra money to get the better struts! Wish I had not wasted the money on these.

Great product. Easy install, One of the rubber rings was melted onto the top of the rear shock. I had to use RTV sealant instead. Shocks make car ride like new.

It appears that the ends of both new rear struts are bent and can not go onto the vehicle. I have already installed the new front struts without issue. I have included a picture of 1 old strut next to your new strut. Please advise. I am not willing to remove the new front struts for a complete refund. I want to return the rear struts, only.
Update 9/07 now, I’m instructed to pay $70 for the return of the sellers ‘bad’ struts, which to me is absurd since this has caused me a lot of grief. I feel that the seller should pay for the return shipping and the replacement struts. They have been very slow to respond to my inquiries. I feel that it’s being dragged out to get me to let it go. If anyone could take just a moment and look at the picture of their new strut next to my original strut, it is clearly assembled wrong. The upper mount is at a harsh angle and will not allow it to be bolted in place of the old strut. I’ve already paid too much for Their mistake! I’m not paying anymore
