My 04 Honda Odyssey had hesitation issue when first startup and accelerating. We would hit the gas but then it would almost pause and RPM’s would drop for a couple of seconds. I was told it was the upstream O2 sensor by mechanic shop. Because they are easy to replace I did it myself. I went to auto parts store and picked up the Bosch sensor and replaced it. But it didn’t work. I also replaced the downstream O2 sensor as well with Bosch and still didn’t work. I just lived with it for over a year until it became really annoying. While checking out this Denso sensor, which is the OEM part for my van, I came across a review stating that the Bosch didn’t work but the Denso OEM part fixed the problem. So I gave the Denso a try. So far going on two weeks it has resolved the problem and has been working great.

Denso 234-4621

This was a near-perfect fit for my recently purchased 2001 Accord EX V6.
I was experiencing hesitations/bogging for about the first 5 minutes of driving. No check engine lights, I cleaned EGR ports & test the MAP sensor & TPS. I finally unplugged the primary O2 sensor & the car ran perfectly fine (albeit in open loop, not good for long term usage), which led me to replace the upstream/primary O2 sensor.
I tried a Bosch 13377 O2 sensor from my local autoparts store (they didn’t have the Denso or NTK in stock), and the car ran even worse. I ordered this from Amazon, it arrived next day. Installed & problems completely solved. Throttle response is much cleaner, hoping to see an improvement in fuel mileage. Time will tell.
Packaging is consistent with Denso products, and the product itself appears to be a legit Denso, I highly doubt its a counterfeit.
My only minor complaint is that the Denso doesn’t have the small clip mid-way in the harness to secure it away from the exhaust. My solution is simply use a zipty and some old oil cooler line to secure it to the OEM bracket. The genuine Honda O2 sensor sells for over $200 at my local dealership, so for ~$150 I’ll happily use a small zipty to keep the harness secured, especially considering this car has 236k miles.
Pro-Tip: It’s WAY easier to unplug the O2 sensor harnesses & unlock the connector from the bracket from the TOP (through the engine bay) versus trying to unplug while underneath the car.

Installed this o2 sensor and then 3 days later the van got totaled so I’m not sure if it worked great or not but the van seemed fine for those 3 days

I purchased the Denso downstream 234-4621
I replaced my oxygen sensors on my Acura 2000 TL V6. not only were they awful, burnt and rusty (especially the upstream) but they’ve never been changed in 16 years. My car feels like new. The original sensors that came with the car was in fact, the Denso brand so this is a genuine OEM. It was an easy installation, you just need to know where the two sensors are located. Use jack stands (not just jacks) to get underneath and use a special oxygen sensor socket to pry it out. Apply some WD40 first and turn the car on for a few minutes to heat the exhaust for easier disconnection. It’s moderately easy and your only significant expense is the sensor and not some mechanic scamming you (one mechanic estimated $150 to install both of them). However if it seems too dangerous for you I suggest consulting with a liscened mechanic. Overall this was a great buy and very satisfied.

Code P0132 O2 sensor voltage high (S1)
Perfect fit 2002 Accord EX-L V6.
Check engine light out and no more stumbling on acceleration. Be sure to check the connector pins for corrosion as water may have started rotting the pins. Replace the connector harness side if this is the case.

This Denso fitted no problem with the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) electrical plug and works like the OEM part with no error messages. Apparently the original factory Oxgyen sensor (O2)on my Acura TL is actually made by Denso. The factory wiring seems a bit more sturdy compared to this aftermarket Denso O2 sensor.
The car feels more responsive after changing it out and slightly better gas mileage; in some other peoples cases, the O2 sensor made big differences in their gas mileage, but they definitely had the car computer code errors appear. Even though I did not get any computer error stating that my original O2 sensors were going bad, i just decided to change them out anyhow and to see if I could get better gas mileage out of it as my gas mileage was poor.
The original O2 sensors did look like they had black plague around the sensor but probably usual for being an original part on the car for a little over 110,000 miles; they were probably still good. The car does accelerate better due to probably more efficient fuel/air mixture , due to the new sensors, for the engine combustion.
I changed both the front and back O2 sensors, bought from Amazon, and the prices were the lowest on the market and I am very satisfied with it. OEM sensors from Acura, even with a discount , were double what I paid for these Denso aftermarket sensors and the Acura sensors are most likely rebranded Denso O2 sensors.
