Used it for my first gen 2003 Toyota Tundra. Functions well, great price, and was simple to install. The wire length is exactly what’s needed and the quality and accuracy is great since it’s an OE replacement. Cheaper than the dealer and for the same sensor!

Installed in a few minutes . Code was cleared and everything good! Saved a bunch from a garage and they would use an aftermarket sensor. Well pleased!

I have a 2003 Tundra 4.7. I had changed the sensors twice with same problem returning each time. Finally found out Denso makes the ones that came with my truck. I changed all 4 and now for the first time in 4 years no check engine lite for 2 weeks so far. My take on it is if you want the light out get the Denso if you have a Tundra!! Do it right the first time. Almost 1/3 better gas mileage as well..big bonus!

Great new in box Denso part, cured my Check Engine Light. Can’t be happier! These are a piece of cake to install as long as the nuts are not overly rusted. I took my bad one out and put the new one in, took probably 5 minutes.
Incidentally for those detailed folks…Check engine light was on in my Tundra, was getting the dreaded P0420 code which means an 02 sensor is going bad or you’ve got a bad/plugged catalytic converter. After replacing the cat assembly because it was leaking anyway, I still kept getting the P0420 code. Doing some more homework and using the Torque Lite app on my Android phone to look at 02 sensor readouts, the left rear (bank 1, sensor 2) reading wasn’t moving at all, no matter the throttle position, etc.

Works on 99 4runner 3.4l manual non-cali emission (no pre-cat). Comes with the gasket too.

It was the correct length and the value was there, but the check engine light (P0171) was still on after install. Ended up checking with a multimeter to confirm the sensor was dead out of box. Replaced with the original O² sensor & the P0171 code cleared itself. I waited too long to return the new one, so now I’m stuck with it.

Perfect fit for the drivers side rear 02 sensor on my 2004 Toyota Tundra. Got rid of the “check engine light” code P0420 “catalytic converter operating below efficienct”. The cat probably indeed is operating below efficiency after 140,000 miles but replacing the 02 sensor got rid of the code and the check engine light has not come back on yet. Denso are the original equipment used by Toyota and this is a good price for it. Make sure you use anti seize compound on the studs used to bolt this sensor to the exhaust pipe and torque it down good to prevent air leaks. I used a dab of Permatex 81343 Anti-Seize Lubricant for this. Disconnect the car battery for at least 30 minutes before changing this sensor and double check that the electrical connector is on there firmly. Then when you start the car it will re-learn everything with the new sensor in place.
Not much else to say except this is the same as the Toyota OEM part for 1/2 the price and it works just as it should, if properly installed.

If you are weighing using this until or a cheaper Ox sensor for your Tundra stop wondering now. I used cheaper non Denso sensors and they kept telling me my catalytic converter was dead. The Denso sensors solved my problems. Remember as well the the upstream and downstream sensors work like a team. The car computer measures the first sensor and then compares that reading to the second sensor. So mixing an upstream and downstream sensor from different brands or even different ages of sensors may provide you with inaccurate readings. Also your upstream sensor might need replacing even if the code just tells you catalytic converter and downstream sensor. I had constant code issues with previous brands. Denso’ have been installed for about 3 months and have worked flawlessly. I almost foolishly bought a new catalytic converter and had an auto place suggest I needed new Catalytic converter based on the codes. Proper new Denso’s all around and my Tundra (235,000 miles and counting) ran great and no longer gives me false readings. Great sensors and perfect fit.
