Update, 06/24/2022: ~10 years old and still passing emissions inspection..
Original Review:
I didn’t know Denso until I found out I needed a front O2 sensor. After being told by Honda that it would be $290.00 for the sensor and another $150.00 for labor, I did some research and found that Denso is a respected company in the Honda enthusiast community and an oem. I checked several online sources and a local chain. Amazon had it for about 10 bucks less on average (thanks Amazon). It even came with anti-seize paste. After having it installed (should have done it myself but had honda do it for 150), the check engine light went out and all is well. It’s too early to talk about long term performance but so far, so good. Great product, great price, great Amazon service. Net $250.00 saved, happy customer.

This is an OEM replacement part that costs half of the Acura part (which is also made by Denso). The harness is a few inches longer than the factory harness, but it’s nothing that a ziptie won’t fix (I believe this is because it fits both the front and rear O2 sensor positions). The sensor comes with a tube of high-quality anti-seize and required 10 minutes to install, including the time to jack up the car. The new sensor cleared my check engine light and has performed well over the course of 16 autocross runs.

I returned this “Denso” O2 sensor because it came in no packaging. I contacted Denso and they told me that all their O2 sensors are sold in a Denso box and the sensor itself is in a sealed bag with a specific Denso sticker on the bag. It is my opinion that these O2 sensors, while being sold as actual Denso brand, are simply generic sensors. It is well known that on certain vehicles, like Honda and Toyota, you need to use Denso or NGK sensors as the sensor controls the air/fuel mixture.
