1. Desconecte a bateria do veículo para evitar qualquer risco de choque elétrico.

Installed on a 2006 Volvo S60 2.5T with 59 in the Vin engine code, the engine is -B5254T2- 06 Volvo’s have a few different engines FYI. These coils are not listed as compatible if you look at “Fitment” while searching but they are for the -B5254T2- engine. I bought the GN10331 first and the electrical connections weren’t the same and the coil length was to short, I also have a 05 XC90 and it has the same engine as the S60 (should have been a clue) that these would work for the S60, nope followed the fitment guide, anyway these are the ones for that engine#. On with the review, I installed these on the S60 on 9.12.16 and while on my drive into work this AM (roughly 1hr) I could tell a big difference in pickup and the car seemed to run smoother, mind you I have 260,000 miles on the car. I also changed the spark plugs and installed NGK BKR6EIX#6418, these coupled together seem to be a great fit. I also installed the same plug/coil configuration on the XC90 about 45 days ago and it is running great also 173,000 miles on it, side note- I did this to the XC90 and the wife didn’t know at first, then one day she said “I know you’ve been doing maintenance to the Volvo’s and what ever you did to the XC boy I can tell a difference in pickup”. I had the local shop give me a quote to change out the 5 sparkplugs and 5 coils, cost $1020.00, I did the work for right around $180.00 and about an hour of my time, well worth saving $820.00. If you have 1/2 mechanical ability you can do the work yourself, “YouTube” is the weekend mechanics friend, I hope this review helps out.

Spent good money for these coils. Misfire issues continued after installing. Ended up taking car to dealership. $600 later got it back with genuine Volvo coils. Running fine now. Lesson learned. Amazon won’t take back the coils. RIP OFF!!!

Bobina de encendido específica para Volvo, funciona muy bien y aunque aumentó después de que la compré, sigue siendo muy accesible

Installed in my 2002 Volvo S80 T6 at 192,000 miles. (The factory coils lasted this long!) Also replaced all 6 plugs with Volvo OEM. Car has been running great. Ran ECU and the Volvo reported misfires in 2 out of 6 cylinders, catalytic converters going bad, and all four oxygen sensors going bad. After new Delphi coils and Volvo OEM spark plugs were installed, the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors problems codes went away! Great product!

I bought these for my 2004 Volvo S60 t5. They work just like the originals.
Update bought these 2 years ago, about 15,000 miles now and had 2 die on me. I went back to the Bosch coils. Lowed my star to 3…..of course your results could be different.

I purchased five of these to fix my 2004 Volvo XC70. These are a great alternative to save some money over the Bosch part and to keep your car running. These appear to be a high quality pattern part.
Top tip be sure to check tha gap of your spark plugs. Volvo specifies a gap between .028-.032”. You will find that the default gap of many plugs is .040” recommended for our Volvo’s. That is well out of spec.

Same part number in the cross referance for my 2004 xc90 t6. quite simple to install. Will get a engine system notification on the dash once installed but this goes away once the computer detects the new part .

I’m going to be honest with you here. I am so freaking proud of myself! I just installed these on my 2004 Volvo S60 2.4L. My wife had come home from work and said the car was messed up. It was sluggish when starting and slowing down and sounded like it was having problems shifting at higher speeds. I took it for a drive and it indeed was having those issues. We both saw the dash read something about “slow down or shift up”. Our check engine light has been on for years (fuel evap sensor) so that didn’t catch our attention. But it did start flashing on us.
I ended up driving it to work and back for a few days while we waiting for the ignition coils (shipped Prime) and the Volvo spark plugs (estimated 7 day shipment) to come in. The spark plugs ended up only taking about 3 days to get here. I decided to dive in tonight and fix this stupid car!
I realize I don’t have many miles on them as of yet so take my review for what it’s worth (probably not much). I ended up going with the Delphi coils due to the costs. Since I made the choice to replace all 5 coils, which I would recommend doing the same, I opted for the middle of the road. The Bosch coils were really expensive x5 and the cheaper coils just seemed iffy despite the glowing reviews.
The only trouble I had was breaking loose the old spark plugs. I was worried I was going to break one off but they eventually all came out. They certinally were more stubborn than the plugs the guy had on the YouTube video I was watching.
I ended up going with these Delphi GN10334 Ignition Coils and the Volvo 8642660 Spark Plugs, From the information I found online I decided it was important to replace all of both the coils and plugs along with getting Volvo plugs over NGK, Bosch or Denso.
The job should take you about an hour although I probably took mine close to 2 hours just because I was being careful. I didn’t buy anything from them but I would like to thank “Auto Parts Direct To You” for the great YouTube video for guidance.
I ended up spending $163 on parts and $87 on tools (yea, no tools, used a friends last DIY job). I have seen prices from a shop discussed on here and the Volvo forums of $500 to $1,000 totals. Feeling good about my $163 parts and new tools. I could have even done the job for $93 in parts had I opted for the chepaer coils.
The car is driving better than I ever remember it driving. I need to find something else to fix!
