This unit fits MErcruiser MPI or MAG marine engines based on Chevy Small block. The Mercruiser part costs over $110 and this is the same. I installed it many times and it is less than half the cost! Excellent!!

Hitachi valve in a suspicious-looking “Delphi” box. Didn’t match any online photo or casting # for Delphi. Sent it back.

This is the correct IAC part for a 2014 Mercruiser 350 Mag. Be careful, others are out there selling a part that looks identical, but if you look inside and you see a spring. then it’s not the right part.

I purchased 2 of these as there supposed to cross reference to a MerCruiser MPI. Neither one of them would maintain a 30% duty cycle on the scan tool. It would just slowly drop to 0 and once it hit zero it would die.. not sure if i’m out the 100$ or if can try and warranty claim them.

Will NOT work on your 496 8.1 Base. Unlike the picture, this one has the spring. Motorcraft – CX1766 will work fine. That some reviews say these IACs worked and some don’t suggests inconsistent parts are bring shipped by this supplier. Just because it bolts up doesn’t mean your duty cycle is right and part is correct. Steer clear.
