Handyman –
I only put this in a few days ago, but so far it is doing a lot better than the last one i bought 6 months ago. It idle hide after the first good warm up. Has been doing much better since.
Doctor Zoidberg –
No issues, works fine.

tried a duralast MAF, burned up in about a month, warranty duralast also burned up in about a month. I tried this updated factory part. the delphi one has lasted a few months now.
the truck runs better/smoother and it fixed the check engine light. but, unfortunately for me, I didn’t see any increase in mpg.
Amazon Customer –
Works well. 1997 GMC Yukon 1500. I was hesitant not to buy AC Delco. But for less than half the price, this fitted up well, and is working well. No issues. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Put the original one back on after a year and I don’t know why i’m so cheap. BUY ACDELCO OR GM GENUINE IF YOUR VEHICLE CALLS FOR IT

This is a well made item that slipped right in and fixed the issues that had troubled my truck. After reading many reviews on different manufacturers the Delphi brand seemed to be the pick of the litter. My plugs were a bit fouled due to the faulty sensor, but after a couple of miles they cleaned right up and the engine now runs smoothly again.

My check engine light was on for some time and a scan told me that the Mass Air Flow had issues. Previous to this, I noticed that my truck was not geting as good of milage as it use to, but I just thought since it was 20+ years old, that should be expected. When the price dropped on this, I bought it. To my suprise, I regained about 3-4 miles to the gallon after switching this out. Feel like an idiot since I drove it for years this way. I replaced it about 2 months ago and it has almost aid for itself.
Mike –
Worked perfectly. The old plug was bad, so I just cut and spliced the adapter harness in to the original wire harness.
John –
Works great for the price haven’t had it in long but all good so far.

Based on what I think I know, this is the factory replacement for GM OEM 5.7 Vortec MAF as I think Delphi was the original OEM for this part. Install was quick and painless and I have noticed no problems with the MAF after 2 months. I replaced a lot of different electrical sensors chasing down an issue that eventually led to a defective ICM (Did not buy OEM AC Delco first time – I will only buy OEM now). This has plastic instead of metal housing outside (which is fine) and it has a plug adapter. I think if the sensor module goes bad in this you can replace it easier and it may be more common and a lower cost.
