I had a pretty scary meltdown on my 62 Chevy C-10 classic truck the other day. Turns out the positive cable shifted out of place and rubbed the frame creating a dead short! Melted positive and negative cables pretty badly.
I needed some quality, affordable replacements quickly. Recognizing the Deka brand from their great USA made batteries, I gave these a try.
Very pleased!! They arrived super quickly, are of high quality and fit perfectly. Highly recommend them (and I’m very picky about what goes in my truck!).

I got the Deka part numbers from the Deka website to make sure I had the correct color and lengths I needed. The RED one I got for the positive had a clamp that was almost too small to stretch over the positive battery post, and the BLACK negative had a clamp almost to large to tighten down on the negative post.

Exactly like the one I was replacing but longer. Added a cut off battery switch and the factory cable became too short to fit. Installed easily… well made. What’s not to love?
