Stephen Weary –
Installed because of the vane position code kept throwing. Have had this installed now for over a month and no more light.

I live in Indiana and was travelling to Knoxville TN. My check engine light came on so I plugged in my OBD Link which displayed a turbo vane sensor fault. I stopped by a Chevrolet dealership to get it replaced. I was charged $50.00 for them verifying what I had just told them. They type up a quote for $820.00 for the sensor plus labor. I felt no loss of power so I drove it home without any issues. I found the exact sensor on Amazon for approx $40.00.
My check engine light is now off.

So I looked around at more expensive sensors, but for the money I decided to try this. So far so good. I did notice at the tip there is a little extension that was not on mine, but maybe because it was warn off because mine is from 2005 with 145K on my truck. Immediately started running smoother, turbo kicks in with no lag off the bottom through the top speed. No issues besides the mount clips, but I just used pliers to squeeze them a bit and they went in. I did need the adapter for my 2005 LLY, but it came in the box and worked with my wiring.

It worked for 2 days and stopped working
Brandon –
did not work for my lbz had fault code after installation and no boost under low rpms. ended up buying a Garrett sensor for more money and that fixed the problem.
Richard –
Did not have an error code before the replacement but since the truck would cycle the vanes at idle but never ran the turbo under low rpms, I figured this was the part needed. Adapter that came with the sensor helped plug right into the harness, no trouble at all. Worked exactly as expected! Will buy again for any other 6.6 I own in the future.

My lbz was throwing P003a code for turbo. Slapped this in there and it went away. Works as it should and considerably cheaper then anywhere else. Good product definitely reccomend
Rula –

Rats had chewed my wires. Used this sensor and it works. No codes and runs like it should.
