Worked perfectly on my 14.5 Briggs.

I was surprised at how heavy duty the magneto and wire were. Easy install, fired right up…

Everything worked fine—used on lawnmower

The OEM bolt holes are not there. Make sure your gap is good enough to start. It worked for me.

This product does work but I had to use 2 little nuts to build it up. It’s not as thick as the original and If you put it on like the original, half of the coil is underneath the bottom of the flywheel.

This device fixed my riding lawn mower, and was fairly easy to install. However, the metal heat shroud kept the sparkplug boot from seating fully on the sparkplug, which caused it to pop off frequently. The heat shield protects the the sparkplug boot since it is located right next to the exhaust system, so it is necessary. I ended up removing the heat shield and ground it down until it would allow the sparkplug boot to seat fully on the sparkplug. Since then it has been operating perfectly. Unfortunately, in order to remove the heat shield to modify it you basically have to pry it apart, making it very difficult to reassemble. I decided to use two stainless steel hose clamps to lock it back onto the sparkplug boot. It’s janky, but it worked like a charm.
