Easy replacement in my 2012 JK. Some reviews say the ignition connector is wrong ?? They must have got the wrong starter sent to them as this was a perfect fit. My JK starts instantly and the starter sounds quicker and stronger than my struggling old one. I’ll update if it dies 3 months in

Perfect fit. Works well so far. Nit too hard of an install. The positive cable is a really hard to get on.

Just installed it today so I can’t speak to longevity yet but this was a perfect replacement for the one I took of my 2014 JK
If it doesn’t last I’ll be sure to update the review but for now I’m happy. The price was similar to buying a reman locally and I’m not on the hook for a core . My old one worked but would screech every so often so I’m going to hang on to my old one as an emergency spare

The starter itself was perfect. The old starter still worked, but had began to operate with slower revolutions that made starting the Jeep unnerving at times. It’s a tight fit, thought it would be necessary to remove the front wheel drive shaft. Fortunately I had an air operated socket wrench that made the removal of the mounting bolts easy. However, removing the wire harness from the starter was difficult due to the lack of flexibility in harness. I needed to use a long screwdriver to pry off the attached power cable. The solenoid plug came off easily.

Bought this about a year ago to replace my starter and sure enough this ones bad now a year later. Save your money and go oem or a better brand.
