Purchased this product for use on Kubota mower. Starter worked once and then not again. Defective product so, within return time window I started a return. The seller denied my request to return telling me that returns hurt small businesses and to consider not returning. I still asked to return and they denied claim again. Submitted A-Z refund, the seller sent a $15 refund (product cost was $210) so that it appeared as though the return was complete once they issued this refund. Contacted Amazon who is filing an appeal because the seller is refusing to honour warranty. Confirmed was within 30 day window for refund and product came with a 1-year warranty on top. Bad customer satisfaction. Will not buy from this seller.

The stater was a perfect fit and works great, fit just like it was intended. I changed the starter in about 30 minutes.

So happy to have found this as it worked like an OEM. But after about 6 months it started only working intermittently and the longer we kept it the less it worked. When I decided to exchange it was starting 15 % of the attempted times. Now its about 2 %. Tried to exchange but is a true hassle. Seller seems friendly but say exchange has to go through Amazon, who states exchange is with seller who will contact you but doesn’t but you can’t contact them directly or they say through Amazon… (round and round)
UPDATE: I have a warranty through Amazon and they exchanged the product. Then I tried to buy elsewhere but triple the price. Decided to try this product again. Price plus warranty still beats competitors and if I have to replace in 3 years, still worth it. Changed my rating to 4 stars. Will update to 5 if product lasts the full 3 years without having to use warranty again.

It is an inexpensive starter for the small Kubota 3 cylinder diesel engine on my generator.
It works perfectly and fit perfectly.
If it lasts, I’ll be a happy boy.

Perfect replacement for the factory starter – which I had repaired just to be safe. The guy that repaired the factory starter was certain that there was nothing wrong with it, but since I installed the DB the mower has started first try every time.
