It is working fine now with 13.8 volts. Everyone said to stay away from remanufacturd, so I went with newlly made, brand new, not cheap. But cheaper then oem from Nissan. Nissan 110 amp, DB Electrical 130 amp.

Stay away from this product, it see that the manufacturer quality control is terrible, you may get lucky and get a working one but it doesn’t worth the risk, I returned it even before installing it, I uploaded a video showing the bad manufactured alternator, the inside rotor is touching the stator which is huge defect. They didn’t manufacturer the rotor properly that the section is not circular . As soon as I opened the box and I saw that I returned it and went to a local auto parts to get one with life time warranty to save me the time and money. And it was the same cost. I regret ordering this part. I don’t know how the previous reviews saying it’s good. Were they lucky to get working ones? Or just didn’t update their review?
In few words: doesn’t worth it, waste of money and waste of time. Stay away

Easy swap and is working as it should.

All alternators are made in an offshore factory it seems. It is nearly impossible to find one that isn’t, remanufactured or not. That said, for the price – it was HALF the cost of the local parts stores and no core return deposit. Hopefully it lasts as long as the OEM one did. It took a while to arrive, but I was in a position where I could afford to wait.

I bought this because Amazon told me it would fit my 2008 Nissan Altima. It did not. Don’t buy this if you have a 2008 Nissan Altima.

This the second DB alternator I’ve bought. One for my VW Rabitt and this one for 2010 Maxima. I bought TYC twice for the VW and both failed. Tough job on the VW but the Maxima is terrible. You can change out the alternator on the Maxima without removing the A/C but it’s very difficult. Don’t want to do it again. DB is a quality part. Don’t but TYC. You will regret it.

The Alternator is a perfect fit / replacement on a 2009 Nissan Maxima. Before you commit research changing it. See if this is your cup of tea or if you rather spend extra money for a mechanic. Taking the alternator out is extremely tight and has a bolt that needs set from a very awkward place. I made a wire handle and pushed it down into its spot under the engine and pulled it into the mount. Just beware this isn’t like changing an altenator in a lot of other vehicles.

9 months and 20,000 miles later – no issues. Fit just like OEM. Electric tested properly when new. Lots cheaper than OEM. No noise and working as hoped. Good buy!

I wanted to wait a bit before writing a review to see how the part would work longer term as I did see some reviews bringing the durability on this part into question. I purchased and installed this part in May of 2023 and happy to report no issues whatsoever. Even when I unboxed this alternator it looked great and had no complaints with the initial look over. I would suggest this part to anyone.

I ordered this Alternator in May 2020. Just had to have it replaced. It only lasted 10 months.
