I had dealt with this company before for a starter on another one of my vehicles. That turned out to be a great experience as I am still using the starter trouble-free and they had it to me in two days! So I figured when I needed an alternator this would be the place I tried. Unfortunately though the first alternator they sent me was a bit of a dud – it did output voltage but emitted an awful grinding noise when turning. I had to return it which wasn’t any problem other then it had to be shipped back on my dime. (DB will NOT pay for shipping on items needing return for any reason) I did however receive the replacement within two days again and this time the unit did not emit any odd noises and outputs voltage right on spec. Any changes to this review would be a direct result of the units reliability.

The alternator was used in conjunction with my battery to operate my vehicle. The product sent to me was incredibly priced and performed comparable to any named-brand unit. I’m superflously pleased.

Was vehiclless for over a week numbing rides and wasting money on cabs. Finally comes in and I saw the box looked like it was used as a soccer ball. Opened it up and saw pretty much nothing was put inside to protect it. The main bolt hole that goes to the engine block is crushed in it would be impossible to bolt on. Refunded and had to settle for a junkyard one. Will just pay extra next time from overpriced NAPA.
