First things first it works. If I have any issues in the future I will update the review to reflect the longevity.
I have a 1973 cub cadet 129 and the mounting holes for this are off by about a half inch. I had to manufacture a extension for the mounting bracket on the tractor it’s self in order to get the belt tight enough. I saw another review that had a similar issue but I wanted to attach some photos so you all could see what the problem is. I do plan on cleaning that bracket up, shaping it a little better and painting it black but for a 10 minute job it works. Just wanted to share my experience.

This definitely works for a Cub Cadet 127, seems the same as the one I took off. It probably works for other similar models as well.
