Despite what Amazon states, this starter did not fit my 2018 f150 5.0.
I ended up going to O’Reilly’s as I already had the starter off and bought the appropriate starter for ~$270. This starter mounts in 3 places, mine only mounted in 2. If you want to buy it only and save money, buy on rock auto as they also had the correct starter (~$170) I just couldn’t wait for it to arrive.

The ease of install has less to do with the part itself and more to do with the cramped design of the location on the F150. Very little room to work a wrench in spots but once it was installed, truck fired right up on first try every time. No more missed starts. My truck had about 110,000 miles at time of replacement. Been using for a few weeks now and it’s rock solid.

This starter was considerably cheaper than OEM parts or even the local parts stores. I was skeptical but low on funds so I gave it a shot. I was honestly surprised. This starter looks good and fits perfectly. Been using it now almost two months and it’s still working great. Time will tell but so far I am very pleased.
