After 2 years we had to replace it again because it kept making a clicking noise when you turned the key. Purchased from a different manufacturer and now it’s silent.

The one on the left is the one purchased, to replace the one on the right, in a Hyundai Elantra. Not even close!!!

This starter fit perfectly in my 2016 Elantra. The only problem was as I tightened down the positive lead on the solenoid it sheared off leaving only about one thread left. It’s a copper stud so it’s expected to be delicate but I wasn’t putting any amount of force on the stud and it was barely beginning to get snug. I bought it fulfilled by Amazon and sold by Amazon so there’s no issue getting another, just the inconvenience of waiting a few more days when I don’t have a vehicle. I’ll try again and be even more careful.

We installed it in late October 2021, car wasn’t starting yesterday, so took it out and took it to Autozone, they tested it and said it was bad. Bought a new one, installed it, and car worked fine. Late October 2021 to March 10th of 2023 is less than 1.5 years. I guess buy it if you are ok with installing a starter that often, or going to get rid of the car soon.

Old starter went from noisy on start to (next) turning slower while cranking, but engine not firing up. Battery checked out 100% good, & its only 3 months old. Installed this new 410-40064 starter. Bolted in just like the OEM starter & back on the road again.

Do not buy this it started making a grinding noise 4 months after installation and had to replace 8 months in. Says it has a 1 year warranty but I do not have the option to replace of refund any where in the purchase history. I had to buy a new one on my own.
