Bought this starter for my car & it was suppose to be an exact fit. As other reviewer stated it was a waste of money & time. Ordered one it did not work had a replacement sent it did not start the car either. So both did not start car. Please don’t waste money on this product.

Put this in a 2012 Hyundai Accent and while it took a bit longer than it will for some of you, the old one came out and this one went in without issue.
You are going to:
-Need to put the vehicle up on lifts and go at it from the bottom, lying down.
-Remove what I can only describe as a “shroud”, a plastic thing along the underside which I assume blocks things spraying up on the engine.
-Reach your arm around the underside of the engine to loosen and tighten the screws (Once I did it and got to see where it was I was surprised it was possible, but it is).
-reattach the wires (make note where they were to begin with but easy enough)
All in all it took maybe 2 hours or so. The last time I replaced a starter was a 1973 Datsun 240z and it was a lot easier. Mechanic shop wanted about $450 with OEM starter and labor so I recommend doing this yourself because you can and this part works. I will come back and post if it malfunctions but I expect it to last longer than the rest of the 8 year old vehicle.

Product came defective, wouldn’t let car turn over about every 1/3 starts, sold car right after purchase so didn’t bother me too much, but don’t recommend buying if looking for long term solutions.

When I received this item it was no longer in service I could not get a spark or get the positive to ignite the starter completely wasted my money spending 60 plus dollars on a used starter that I couldn’t even replace my old starter with

This product was TRASH! I put in my car information and it said it would fit my 2014 Hyundai accent. I should have known with this piece only costing me 80 dollars that it wouldn’t work! & of course it didn’t. Starters are usually around 200. It didn’t work at all so I had to drop 200 on a new one and was without my car until I could get the new one installed. I was disappointed but I should have knew better when I saw the price.
Then I had to return it and it took about a week, week and a half to even get my refund and money back.
DONT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Just because it says it will fit & work for your car don’t mean it will. Just pay the regular price on a starter instead of being a dummy like me and trying to find a cheaper way. I’m a single mother of 3 and I can’t afford to just save money or drop hundreds of dollars…. On top of paying the 80 for this, I had to also pay 200 for a new one from oriley. Smh! Please don’t waist your money!

This starter and seller is awesome. The starter was brand new and $60 cheaper then a reman. It fits and works perfectly and best part of all I didn’t have to deal with the mouth breathers at the auto parts store.. Totally would buy again.

It advertises as fitting and the parts picker built into Amazon will say it is a perfect fit. But in reality this unit does use the same solenoid & body size and type of bolt pattern works and will mount perfect! But It will not engage with your flex plate because this unit has 8 teeth on the crank and the original is 12 teeth. It will just engage and bang into the flex plate over and over!

This was not an easy installation for the first timer. But the product was factory-fresh quality. Well built and sturdy. I would give it a manufacturerer’s-like competitiveness. For the a fraction of OEM, you’d be foolish not to use it. After the product was carefully installed, the car started up like the day I bought it.

Bought in June 2022 and started going bad in January 2023. Contacted DB Electrical who said that they would not honor the 1 year guarantee since it was not bought directly from them. they said to contact Amazon for the guarantee. I did and Amazon replaced it in February 2023. Now it’s November 2023 and the “new” starter is going bad again like the first one. Now I am going through the same process again!
