This starter literally made noises after 2 weeks and now I’m praying that when they get it off it hasn’t damaged the flywheel . I shouldn’t even have to be bothered returning it . They are showing a restocking fee . I’m trying to find someone to take it off for free so my monetary exposure is not so bad. Just sick to my stomach and at every one’s mercy to get my truck fixed and I’m sent this piece of junk starter

This replaced a 7-year-old Bosch starter. I would’ve just replaced the solenoid (since that’s what was wrong with it), but even just the part number for this generation/engine’s starter solenoid is unobtainium.
This starter bolted right up with beautiful new hardware provided in the box. No hiccups. I was able to bolt the starter up, attach its cables, reconnect the battery, and immediately start the truck. No problems at all, 3 days later.

I bought this as a replacement for a 2003 Ford Ranger. The quality is as good as the OEM and it fit fine with no issues. Most important it works as good as the original but the price was much better than an OEM starter.
