I mounted it in a 07 Ford F-150 that was having issues to start and putting a new solenoid + starter (this starter has the solenoid attached to it) fixed the problem.

Does not fit 99 ford f150 w a 4.2 ! Had to return and get money to order a new one!

My son installed this on my truck when it arrived. It’s been 3 months now and the truck is still cranking just fine, so yes, I would recommend without any concerns about the starter. It did take a little longer than I thought it should to arrive, but all in all, it’s here and on the truck now.

Starter went out on our truck. Found this & came within 3-4 days . Replaced bad for this one & works like a charm. Less than 100to do it ourselves & mechanic wanted to charge 380. **** update*** starter only lasted 11 months then had to replace so not buy this starter *******

I bought this starter on Jan. 2018 and almost a year gone by no problems at all. Just like the picture very shiny and new. The best part the price. The local auto parts store wanted three times the cost of this starter. I can tell you the unit looked rebuild and dull in comparison to this one. Well worth the price.

This part is specific to this truck none of the dealerships or parts stores had this in stock you must look at the top of the starter and see that your starter for your truck is flat on the top does not have a cone shape that is the catch guys all the best and thank you all for providing this starter

Worked fine for about a year before the gear’s teeth wore down until it wasn’t catching anymore. I don’t regret buying it, the cheap price helped me in a pinch.
