Starter was not available for express shipping so it took a week to arrive from USA warehouse.
The general look of it is great, it installed with no issues.
It spins the motor quickly with a good battery.
It looks identical to my old starter as it should and perhaps I can add to the review in a month or two.
It comes with a computerized test sheet which shows various specs. Drive gear was nice and tight, no complaints.

Totally wrong starter for my 1998 Ford I had too swap the new parts to my old one im not really impressed about that one but I guess it works great I would of rated it a 5 star

Looks well made and it fits perfectly, but the starter works less than half the time. The review from Jimy seems to have the same problem.
If the replacement starter works better then I will add stars. When it cranks it turns strongly but hitting the key 20 times is no fun.

Been a few months since I installed this starter and it’s working perfectly just as it did the first day. Great buy for a great price and easy as getting underneath the car and 1, 2, 3, bolts off and back on to install it. Even had a printout from the manufacturer of its testing making sure it was good before distribution. 10 out of 10. Thanks DB Electrical!!!

Wish I had replaced the old one earlier. Turns the motor over faster than the previous motorcraft starter.

After purchasing two alternators for my two F-150 trucks, and an alternator for my backhoe, all of which had perfect fit and are operating flawlessly I finally had a problem with a solenoid on a starter I purchased for my child’s Ford Taurus. DB Electrical sent me a new replacement starter and didn’t even ask for the faulty starter in return. They just asked that I retain the defective starter for future return if the new starter has any problems both could be returned. I installed the replacement starter and it is working perfectly. It was a real pleasure dealing with DB Electrical.

This starter fit and works like it should. It really spins the engine and it starts better than it has in years. What you do need to know is that the original Ford plastic insulator will probably disintegrate when you go to remove it so your going to need some good electrical tape to insulate the positive post so you don’t short out the battery when changing the oil filter the next time. That’s a Ford issue the same as mounting this below the oil filter.
Also the original solenoid wire will be junk and that’s why this comes with a new one that you’ll need to crimp to your old wire. Glad they included that or I would have been trying to fix that wire also.

Starter was an exact fit for my 2001 Ford Windstar. Only issue was that the solenoid was installed upside down on the starter body. I could have remounted it, but just needed to find a bit more slack in the electrical leads to reach the solenoid terminals. Works great.
