Fit a 2000 Honda Odyssey perfectly! Runs quiet and regulates great. I don’t know if this was just the van I was repairing but the alternator it replaced had the regulator plug on the top; this new alternator has it on the back. There was plenty of slack in the wiring harness to reach, and both the regulator and positive terminal connectors on this alternator were a perfect match to the factory setup.

Our 2001 Honda Odyssey’s original alternator was starting to howl (which is a sign that the bearings are starting to die). This alternator was an exact drop in. Still took almost 3 hours to do everything. It is not an easy removal/install, the clearance is very tight and one of the mounting bolts sheared off while removing. Now the van sounds quiet again and the MPG has actually gotten a bit better. I think the drag from the failing alternator bearings was higher than I realized. If that had frozen up while driving the serpentine belt would have probably broken and everything would have been bad. Glad to be in a more comfortable place.
Just started to get a flickering battery and door open lights on the dash. Research points to a bad alternator. I will try and contact the vendor for a replacement.

You get what you pay for I guess. I was hoping to save some and not pay 2 to 3x the amount for an alternator locally. Unfortunately this one didn’t last 3 month before shorting out internally while we were driving and leaving us stranded on the freeway. Fit was good but now I have to take it back out and buy another replacement. Don’t recommend unless you like doing the work twice!

This alternator is on a 2000 Honda Van, with front and rear heat/ac and power sliding doors. Alternator has been working flawlessly for 18 months. Highly recommended.
