Need some brake pads for my wife 2019 Toyota Camry SE as the car is coming up close to 90k miles and it’s time to replace the both front and rear brake pads.
These pads came poorly package and when I received the item, the box had busted open and all 8 pads where just bouncing around inside the packaging. Luckily there were no damage to anyone of the pads. Two of the pads anti squealing shims got knocked loose but I was able to fix the tab and place it back on the pads.
Installation was easy and though I didn’t cut the rotors as they were still good and within specs. Drove the car around town for 20 miles though the pads work. The initial bite wasn’t there even after the initial break in with 3 hard stops. The rotors now has a dull finish which is what I wanted to see. Since I had previously washed all 4 wheels. There was very little noticeable dust and though there is some, you can’t see them compared to older pads that were semi-metallic. The one thing that got me is there was no initial bite when you first depress on the brake pedal and stops are now required a little more pedal pressure.
Fitment wise, theres pads fit with no issues and dimensionally they are the exact same size as the factory pads you get from the dealer. I will update this review later once I log about 1000 miles with these pads on.
