Worked on my D-130. Watched a YouTube video and installed it myself, took about an hour.

Didn’t last a week! I replaced all the wearable parts and made sure there was very little play! I also bought this pinion gear and swash plate as a set and still it stripped out
I wish I could give it a zero star rating because it don’t deserve one star

The only thing in the package was the gear. No other parts…. We really need the other parts. How can I get them?

As with ANY repair job, you must actually have the knowledge, tools, and abilities to complete the repair, be prepared for some small “problems” along the way, everything is not always “plug and Play” !!!! If you are not good at using tools, take your equipment to a shop, don’t mess up the job and then try to blame the parts for your inabilities !!!! If you are well prepared and knowledgeable about how to repair things, you should not have any problem at all replacing these steering parts, it took me about 2 hours and I am VERY knowledgeable about these mowers.

Fit perfect , easy to install . took me about 30 minutes to change out. Do recommend using an impact wrench to take the steering wheel cog off, makes it so much easier. Thank you.

The product was exactly like the OEM product. It helped that it contained the bolt and bushing as well.

This product says it will work with a John Deere D140, but it is completely the wrong piece!! Of course, I did not realize this until after I already took the mower apart and compared the two pieces. If you have a John Deere D140, DO NOT BUY THIS!!

The original sector and pinion gears on my JD D130 tractor wore out after 6 yrs of use. This kit fit perfectly as promised. Fairly easy to install as long as the steering assembly mounting plate is removed from the underside of the tractor in order to install this kit. Would be nice if a steering shaft nylon bushing was included but the old one was good enough to reuse. Hopefully good for another 6 yrs.!
