***UPDATE*** It’s now November 2021. I have roughly 20k miles on the Vincos gaskets, and I still haven’t leaked a drop of oil. I typically am an OEM Toyota purist where it counts, but I took a chance on these and I am overall very happy. I would purchase these again with no doubt
Perfect fit for my 1998 Toyota 4Runner Limited 3.4 V6. I was hesitant towards buying this product, but I’m glad I did! Valve cover gasket, spark plug tube seals, and bolt grommets are all thick and quality material. The VC gasket was a perfect fit and fit snug in to the VC channel. The spark plug seals were tight, but I expected this as the originals were tight even after 20 years! Bonus points for including the bolt grommets. I installed everything in December 2019. It’s now July 2020 and I’m not leaking a drop of oil out of my covers anymore. Overall very satisfied and I would definitely buy again! I am not a mechanic, just a DIY’er who loves working on my 3.4 4runner. The entire job took about 7 hours, I was thorough and took my time. Not difficult at all, just take your time!

Excellent I mean excellent valve cover gaskets, plug gaskets and bolt gaskets. Perfect fit. Easy to install and no leaks.
The job itself was quite a chore on my 97 4runner but these parts were 5 stars. I highly recommend replacing plugs with OEM plugs and OEM coils/wires at the same time. Removing the air intake plenum is not as big a deal as I made it in my head. I spent hours planning and watching videos but the actual task only took me 2.5 hours on the left and 30 minutes on the right. NOTE, do the left (drivers side) first.

The spark plug tube seals are the wrong size, I had to go to a parts store to get new ones. Immediately the gaskets leaked for the covers themselves and I had to use RTV along the entire gasket surface to avoid leaks, not fun having to go back and do this job twice for no reason. Save yourself the trouble and just order a better gasket on rock auto or go to a parts store and pay the premium price or go OEM

I ordered these because I don’t like the blue one from fell pro, theses where black. Fit perfectly, plus it came with the tube seals and new washers for the bolts.

When I installed this gasket set I was satisfied with it but after some heat cycles and about 80 driven miles all the valve cover grommets cracked all the way through. The valve cover gasket and sparkplug tube still seem to be sealed. If I had to do over again I would not buy these. I will be using Toyota or known brands.

Gotta use the toyota seal packing with it and let it sit out in shape for some time as its shipped all bunched up. But fits 5vzfe valve covers, tighten to correct inch lbs and redo the half moon and cam cap seals with the packing and no leaks..

Needed to do a valve adjustment and had a drivers side Valve Cover gasket leaking a bit of oil on my 2002 Tacoma 3.4L. Figured i’d knock both off and set off on the gasket hunt. I was very pleased that this gasket set included correct size spark plug tube seals, screw washers/ grommets and the VC gaskets themselfs all in one neat package. The VC gaskets went in like a glove and stayed put during installation. Spark tube seals went in with hand pressure and the screw washers worked great.
If you’re doing this job you’ll also need the “Cam plugs” for the back of the heads, OEM Toyota seal packing (FIPG 103).
You’ll want to pull out all 4 half moon plugs and clean & seal em with the FIPG 103 (8x small dabs where the half moon top edges meet the head sealing surface). Also use it liberally for the New cam plugs on the back of the head. One uga uga torque spec with a 1/4 rachet and a 10mm for the cam end cap bolts.
(Don’t forget to lube up the tube seals with oil to make VC installation easier) ( torque the VC bolts from a center out pattern alternating top/bottom slowly in 2-3 passes, final torque is achieved when the rubber grommet compresses to the same size of the metal washer).
Enjoy not smelling burnt oil while cruising your Taco windows down to your favorite camp site, Taqueria or bar. =)
