Plug and play for vehicles 2019-2023ONLY.
For 2024-2025 model year, vehicle MUST HAVE trailer tow package factory installed. Without the trailer tow package, you have NO lights and dealer will not install trailer hitch and/or activate trailer lights. Cadillac advertises 2000lb capability without trailer tow package however in reality, it is 0lbs

It’s easy to install and works as it should. However, if you’re buying this connector, you real question should be; why did GM not use the standard and inexpensive connector used on virtually every other car?

Our mechanic couldn’t get this to work. He discovered it was not set up right during manufacturing. The wires were reversed. He put them back into the right spot on the plastic connector. Just FYI if you get a bad one too.
