I couldn’t find this piece at tractor supply or home depot then I just happened though of amazon and there it was! I was so worried it wouldn’t fit !! It fit right to it! Perfectly! WHat am I gonna do without amazon!!!! Thank you!!!

It took a while for oil drain valve to arrive, but it did come at the estimated date. After reading the reviews I expected it to be difficult to remove the oil drain valve but I was able to turn the old one by hand after applying a wrench (at an angle) and giving maybe a 1/8 turn. Plumber putty/tape not needed since the new valve came with a sealer on the threads. No leak after 1 hour or running.

Exactly like original, fits perfectly. Hard to install not because anything wrong with plug itself but engine mounts had to be loosened, and engine lifted up to get clearance to install. But now it won’t leak oil anymore.

On my model lawn mowers there is no way to tighten the plug more than hand tight. It now sits in the tool box as an “emergency” part.

Still no leaks after a couples mows. Probably could have replaced the orings on the original but this was as cheap. Had to grind down a socket to get it to grab but whatever that’s what cheap sockets are for.
