Fuel to fit my BMW XT perfectly. I was able to quickly remove the retaining ring for my intake fuel pump to be able to change it with a new one. I would definitely recommend purchasing one of these for your BMW if you have to change the fuel pump. It’s manufactured very well to specification and very durable.

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator assembly in my BMW 128i. The rings were on really tight and I was glad I bought the proper tool rather than a universal one. Made the task easy without slipping off. Expensive tool, not a good value but Amazon has the best price.

the tool fits into the BMW fuel pump retainer ring very well , dont believe those jokers on the internet who just pop the ring off with a screwdriver , this is the only way to remove and properly install the ring

Skip the other two prong tools, this is way superior and made the job much quicker. Worked for my E92 BMW 335i even though it wasn’t listed as compatible. I wish Amazon offered rental option as it’s very expensive for a one car job.

Great quality, arrived fast and worked perfect for fuel pump on a 2004 BMW X3. We were trying like hell with a punch and a hammer, soaked it in penetrant, the thing wouldn’t budge and started bending the fins on the retainer. This thing took it off like butter!

The right tool for the job, much faster and not as brutal as using a hammer and screwdriver to get the ring off. Bought it to replace the fuel filter on an E60 545i, a week later needed it to replace the fuel pump on my kid’s E46 323i. Less expensive than the Baum tool.
