There’s really nothing complicated about these bolts. They attach the driveshaft to the output yoke on the transfer case. They don’t take a lot of abuse, and they’re not tightened with a lot of torque. But these 12-point replacement bolts are a big improvement over OEM 6-point bolts because the engagement with the wrench is much better and you’re much less likely to strip one.
That’s it. This is a simple product that works well, and the 12-point head is a substantial improvement over the OEM 6-point bolts.
