Descrição do Produto: CRC MAF

Even though it was expensive for its size, I like that I didn’t have more than I needed for my cars.

Worked perfect. Essentially 1 can 1 use.

I don’t write reviews that often, but this product has made me reconsider. This review is for a 2005 Mustang 4.0 V6
For 5+ years, I’ve been ignoring my car’s rumbling when it idles. Whether it be in drive and I’m at a stoplight or it’s in park and I’m in my driveway. When I wasn’t moving, my RPM would drop to around 650 and it would rumble juuuust enough to worry me. Recently, my engine would turn over and immediately die. It wasn’t the battery or starter, the engine just wasn’t getting enough air to keep the engine running. I would have to step on the gas a little, turn the key, rev it to 2000 RPM, then it would stay on. After this new engine problem, I thought I would do something about it.
After using CRC MAF and Throttle cleaner, my engine starts up faster and stronger than it has in the past 8 years I’ve had it. It no longer dies when starting and the idling rumble has disappeared. For a $10 fix, I’m disappointed I didn’t use this earlier. And single-use it is not. Judging by how much I used, there’s a minimum of 2-3 more uses out of each can.
10/10 regret not buying years ago.

This set made my 2007 Isuzu I-290 run like new again. It has 183,000 miles on it, by the way. I was having an issue where every time I came to a stop, the RPM’s would drop to about 300-400 and it would nearly stall. I cleaned the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body at the same time. It did take a little time cleaning the throttle body, as there was a lot of black gunk on it, but the work was worth it. I used a liberal amount of cleaner, an old toothbrush, and a rag. When I was done, I had what appeared to be a shiny, new part. After I put everything back together, the truck idled at about 700-800 RPM’s. A couple hours of work is worth another 100,000 miles…I hope.
By the way, these cans may look small, but there is enough for a couple cleanings. A little goes a long way with this cleaner.

Really like the fact that these two come together’ it’s very convenient as you will probably want to use both on the same job. And the products themselves seem to be quite good. The only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five is because realistically speaking, you will use MUCH more of the throttle body spray than the MAF cleaner spray. If you are taking off your intake manifold and cleaning a lot of carbon deposits, you will go through the bottle of throttle body cleaner quite quickly, while the MAF cleaner will probably last you many, many years as you on occasion give a few quick sprays on your MAF sensor. That having been said, if you don’t anticipate heavy use of the TB cleaner this set is the way to go. Otherwise, probably worth buying a larger bottle of the TB cleaner and a small one of MAF cleaner.

I used it for my Mazda 2008 that had idling issues. It worked perfectly fine. Perfect combo from CRC that’s affordable for a non frequent user like me. It cleaned all the carbon deposits on MAS sensor by just spraying no manual clean needed dried up in seconds as expected.
Throttle body was so dirty. I sprayed and let it soak and used paper towels to wipe. Did that couple of times to get rid of most of it. The entire process took hardly 20 minutes worth spending. The idling is better increased to 1000 and there is a slight increase in power and mpg.

After using about 15 sprays of each can to do their job, I used no more than 20% of the can. There is A LOT left! Despite claims of it being “Single-Use,” pretty sure it’ll last me AT LEAST 4-5 more uses.
This stuff is awesome. I have never cleaned my MAF sensor or throttle body myself, but I’m pretty sure a shop has cleaned it in the past. I just changed out my air filter and figured I would give this a try. I have a 1999 Lexus GS300 and taking apart the air intake to get to the throttle body was easy. From here I followed the instructions on the can, a few YouTube videos for cleaning these components on my exact car, and a video from CRC. Super easy, took all of maybe 25-30 minutes and cut through all the dirt and grime build up. Fixed a rough idle problem I had, as well as made my car more responsive and smoother. I can’t say it added horsepower, but the responsiveness has definitely improved! The MAF Sensor Cleaner is safe on plastics, so I actually cleaned the inside of my whole intake with it!

Great little party-pack, both products very effective. I liked the TB cleaner especially, it dissolved the moderate buildup around my truck’s throttle plate with just a few shots and some scrubbing with an old toothbrush (a must for the job: an old toothbrush). It’s good to have the right product for the job to prevent damage to sensitive components, so this kit is a smart buy rather than trying to use one product on everything. Read and follow all instructions carefully and make sure you don’t let *anything* but the spray touch your mass airflow sensor element(s). Keep in mind these are baby cans (hard to tell in the picture), but they should be good for much more than a single use. Great if you don’t want giant cans of infrequently-used products bonking around your shelves, but want to make sure you have the right spray on hand when you need it.
