So I’ll start by saying that CravenSpeed’s customer service alone is something to marvel at. It’s incredible. I was looking for an antenna for my ’17 Silverado. I typed into the amazon search, clicked on the first one, bought it. It arrived and didn’t fit. I went back and looked at what I bought and it turns out I’m dumb and need to read more stuff first. I ordered one for a Chevy Colorado. Totally my fault, about to pay for it right? Nope! Emailed CravenSpeed and got a response within MINUTES. Explained that I am a few brain cells short of a brick and it was my fault, but if I could swap out for the right one that would be great. Within 10 minutes I had a shipping confirmation of the correct one on it’s way and a return label included to send them back the one I ordered. Zero hassle and I was shocked how great they were. Got the right antenna in a couple days, it went on easily, looks great, and works great. You won’t be disappointed. And in the off chance you are, you have probably the best customer service in the whole world that will take care of it for you.

I bought this antenna for visual only. I don’t listen to the radio as I listen to SiriusXM that came with my truck or I have my ipod plugged in. I installed it in less than two minutes shortly after it was delivered. For those who do listen to the radio, I did turn on the radio after I installed the antenna to see if it lost some reception and it seemed to lose reception on my radio. Something to consider if you plan on buying this antenna and do listen to the radio. I’m giving it a good rating because like I said I bought it for visual reasons. I like the stubby antenna rather than the long antenna. It is almost hidden and flows with the contour of the truck since everything is black with a little chrome but now it doesn’t look like there is a antenna there when you stand back at a distance which is what I wanted.

Absolutely love it. I tested it in the car wash. I get perfect reception with both Sirius and am/fm. Pretty sturdy design so far.

I use an FM transmitter in my vehicle. Ever since I got a newer truck, I started picking up static from far away radio stations, even on the most clear frequency in my town. So I ordered this in the hope that it would have better reception than no antenna, but worse than the factory antenna so that it didn’t pick up stations from two towns over. This antenna accomplished that perfectly. The local stations work fine, and there’s no more static on my transmitter.
It’s also even smaller than it looks in the picture, so it basically hides the antenna almost completely.
It was a bit hard to install. It doesn’t thread on near as far as the oem antenna. It also doesn’t have a flat sided base, meaning that if it won’t thread by hand there’s no way to tighten it with a wrench. But you certainly don’t want to use pliers because the finish is too soft and will immediately get shredded in the plier jaws

We tarp our vehicles before snowstorms to make cleanup fast and easy. Got tired of having to remove antennas and worry about breakage every storm. So we swapped to the stubbies. The fit under the tarps and were a breeze to install.
I have noticed some degradation in signal but not enough to worry about.
