Build quality seemed good when I installed it. Later my Car 220k 2.4l Toyota started to get harder to start hot and finally began stalling randomly at traffic lights. Or not restart when hot. No codes in computer. I spent a lot of time looking for causes because I ignored the crank sensor since I replaced it just last April. Nearly installed a new pump and camshaft sensor. Finally was looking at live data while cranking the engine and noticed RPM was at zero. That comes from crank position. So I got a CarQuest brand here locally and the problem was solved.
Don’t buy these cheap sensors. Next time I would likely just get OEM. The $70 I saved last year by getting this sensor was wasted quickly when I was swapping parts trying to diagnose this failure.
