These are standard CR2450 batteries. That is, even though they are advertised as fitting Fords and Lincolns, they are no different than other CR2450s. However, what is *very peculiar* is that they advertised and sold as generic batteries, but they ones I got have Panasonic written on them. If they really are Panasonic brand and not a counterfeit, then maybe, just maybe, the pricing isn’t too far off. However, you can search Amazon and elsewhere and find even Panasonic batteries more for cheaper.
The extras that they include are kind of nice: a guitar pick/spudger, a tiny straight slot, and a tiny cross point screwdriver. The spudger is rather handy at splitting the fob without mucking it up. Screwdrivers tend to leave marks; the plastic spudger didn’t. The little straight slot was nice to pop the old battery out with ease. In my case, I saw no use for the cross point.
So, for the money, you MAY get brand name batteries and extras, but I’m not sure I would count on it. Even then, you likely can find the same batteries for cheaper.

I should have shopped around because you can get similar better price on the same batteries. I mean they fit and have been working just fine so far which is what I needed. I suppose if they last a long time then they will be worth the value and only time will tell with that but make sure you shop around.

This kit was exactly what I needed. The tools made it easy to open the kep fobs and the batteries were exact matches that came with the keys. My car had been giving me ‘No Key Detected’ messages but those are gone now.

I grabbed this CR2450 key fob replacement battery for my Ford Explorer and it worked like a charm. Swapping the old battery out was super simple—just popped open the fob, dropped this one in, and it synced right away. No need to reprogram anything. The packaging was clean and secure, and the battery itself had a solid expiration date (plenty of life left). I like that it’s compatible with a whole range of Ford and Lincoln models—I’m actually going to order another pack for my wife’s Edge too. Ford remotes take a slightly exotic 2450 battery. With this item, you also get two micro screwdrivers and a pry pick to help you get the fob apart. With Ford, you just remove the stored key and pry apart with the pick. There is a pry slot along the edge of the battery used to pop it out (Small screwdriver). Should take about 60 seconds.
In the past, I’ve purchased batteries online that were defective or old stock. This was not the case here. I measured my old battery (3.0V) and compared it to the new ones (Both 3.20). This is actually a significant difference when it comes to Lithium. They worked without issue and I have no concerns.
Net: The price and quality is comparable to what you’d get if you walked into a big-box retailer, and you get some handy tools in the bargain.

I ordered These CR2450 batteries to replace the one which was in my MyQ garage door transmitter, so they appear to work in items others than the car key fobs mentioned. They fit perfectly, and I found it interesting that the brand on the battery was labeled Panasonic. The package also included both a small standard and Phillips screwdriver, as well as a wedge tool that resembled a guitar pick – probably useful for prying key fobs apart. Additionally, the packaging was quite “childproof,” as I could only remove the items using a pocket knife.
