LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!! Amazing product! I just finished using it to cover some ripped rubber on the bottom of my car windows. Actually, I was going to put it around the tire part (as shown) but changed my mind. You have to be careful as it adheres very quickly. However, it can be removed with a little effort. I cannot wait to purchase more. It looks shiny and provides great coverage.

I purchased this “chrome” trim to replace some I installed years ago on my motorcycle and was losing its adhesion. My previous trim was similar but was a V shape in section, to wrap around the edges of my fenders. This trim is much better, is just a flat trim rather than the V shape. It was very easy to install. I clean up of the fenders with rubbing alcohol and doing the installation during warm weather also helped. Very flexible and followed the contours of my fenders beautifully. Very happy.

Honest review on this molding. Installing was quite easy and it enabled to re-lift and place if you don’t get it perfect. Just don’t push it down until it is placed right, then use a towel and push hard to secure it. One thing I noticed is while washer or drying the vehicle, the towel will catch the edges. So, be careful while doing this so you don’t accidentally lift an edge. The material looks to be good quality and I think I would buy it again. The price was great though and that persuaded me to try it. Fast shipping too, which I always like. The carbon coating looks to be good quality, I haven’t done a time test, but if you want it to last and look good, probably keep the sun from cooking it. I am pretty happy with the appearance and 2 rolls worked perfect for my application. I gave it 4 only because it can be snagged with a towel during car cleaning.

I had none of the problems listed in other reviews for this product. The 3M tape adheres very well- such that you need to follow the directions carefully and not press it firmly in place before you are satisfied with the position. A tape line or other markers are strongly recommended. Be sure not to touch the sticky surface or the adhesion of the area touched will be diminished. The length advertised (12′) was exceeded by the product received. It was actually 12′ 9″ in length. The product is nicely contoured to prevent side damage as when in a parking lot. It has a strong scratch resistant surface with a nice gloss that matches the cars paint (black) very well. The surface was blemish free in both rolls. A good sharp cutter is needed to cut the sections to proper size as the product has a firm density and is much thicker than the import brands.

The chrome itself looks really good. It looks like a factory style chrome that the vehicle would’ve come with. My only complaint is that the adhesive itself can’t withstand temperatures here in South Texas apparently. Even after prepping the surface correctly, make sure everything was clean. Make sure it’s taped down since it was curved towards the end of the chrome run, It only held up on that curve for about a week and a half then again this is Texas it gets over 100° so maybe the temperature is a factor but now I have to figure out how I’m gonna re-tack those corners down the actual straight run is fine. Makes me wonder what the difference between this and the ones from Temu or AliExpress are, I went with this, since it was namebrand.

the 3/4 Inch by 12 feet trim is a direct match to the wide trim on any Indian motorcycle front fender any year 2014-2023+ one roll is enough to do both sides of the front fender (see picture)
the 1/4inch by 20 feet is enough line the upper and lower edges of the saddle bags and do the lower edge of each side of front fender (see picture) .
the 1/4″ molding is not something Indian does OEM but I think the look is so professional that they should have done it (see picture)
Both fender and saddle bags have “sexy” curves that the trim must conform into.
the easiest way is pull 3 inches the backing from the adhesive and flip the ribbon180 turn so that one can “pull” it at a right angle to the trim. Its best to over hang an the 1st edge by an inch so you can later flush cut it with a razor blade as to get that factory flush with edge look.
Align the your trim as to get 4″ into curve conformation, use a hair dryer heat those 4″ to hot tub warm if needed – not too much heat if you keep it so your fingers can easily hold the part as well as fingers in the heat stream of the hair dryer – that is perfect. one you are happy those 4″ are perfect have someone pull the tag end. you get exactly one chance to get alignment perfect and ony one chance adhere the trim.
I find it easiest if two people are involved, one person applies heat when asked that same person pulls the tag end when asked. Meanwhile the other person is responsible for get those 4″ aligned perfect, calling for heat if needed as to get those 4″ perfect and then calling for the tag end to be pulled once perfect.

Positives: The material has a nice finish and a wide, low-profile shape. Some “black” plastics can be quite gray, but this was a good black. The molding is made of very durable dense material. The adhesive was very strong. I cleaned the paint with isopropyl alcohol before applying the new molding.
Negative: This molding is very hard to cut. It can be cut straight by hand with a utility knife or with tin snips. If you can find smooth-edge tin snips you can get decent curved cuts. I don’t think good half-round end cuts are possible with a knife. I’m lucky to have access to a milling machine to cut the round ends perfectly.
I have included a photo of my 24-year-old, rusty Ford moldings and one with the new moldings attached. Looks great. It was good that this molding is about 1/4″ wider than the original, as some paint peeled off with the old molding. I used one package (16 feet) to do my truck as pictured. Virtually none left over!
Overall, I am very happy with this product.

Excellent quality for the price. Used this chrome trim to replace some damaged trim on an older SUV.
