Bought for use to dry a car and rv. Washed several times before and always after attempted use. No dryer sheets or fabric softener used. The “cotton” behaves like a synthetic fiber. For example, you can use three to try to dry the vehicle hood or try to dry the windshield. They are the first towels I have ever seen that absorb absolutely nothing. Their ability to continuously spread the water around is impressive. If you wax the vehicle and the wax is completely dry, they will wipe that off. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t use these out the box as they will give off a ton of green lint. Washed and dry at least 3x to get these in a useable state. Generally I’d say they’re OK but there are better options in waffle weave for drying.

When drying my car, it leaves fuzz behind and takes at 2-3 flat wipes to dry. No matter how you dry, it does the same thing. At least you get a plenty of towels include so you don’t worry about running out when changing the towels as you use them in dirtier spots. That is really the only good point on these towels. Though having less with better quality not leaving fuzz would be better.
Conclusion: Though it has a ton of towels included, there are better options out there that you don’t have to clean up after what you used to clean dry your car. Look at other options before buying these. Do not recommend these at all.

I bought the red ones and I tried to use them out of the package they came in to dry my truck, and they left red fibers covering the truck, so I washed them and they partially disintegrated, see the picture of the washer. I will wash them again and see how they do, but two stars for now.

At LAST I have found a detailing towel that isn’t microfiber! It’s perfect for the Griot’s Garage spray-on wash and wax products. I think I’ll order another package just to have around as my wife finds they are just the ticket for miscellaneous cleaning jobs around the house.

A lot of loose fibers and dye come off of these towels. Wash alone a few times or let them soak in the bathtub for a while until they stop bleeding. Check the lint trap in the dryer often, they will shed quite a bit at first.. After that they seem to be okay.

Terrible quality. Left a heavy residue of cotton all over the towels and the inside the washing machine after washing the brand new towels. It looked like someone had put boxes of tissues in the wash. Getting it off was a nightmare and a huge clean up project. Several towels came apart in the initial wash, again this was prior to ever being used. Had to wipe off all the chunks and pieces from the inside of the washer in handfuls and had to clear the lint screen of the dryer every five minutes. Never seen anything like it before. Lint continues to fall off towels after washed and dried. Total garbage.
