Common symptoms of a bad ECT sensor are overheating, hard starting conditions, poor idle, black smoke coming from the engine, Check Engine Light ON and the electric fans do not work properly. Be aware that coolant will gush out when removing the old plug so have the new sensor close and ready to attempt to reduce the amount of coolant loss.

I order one and even it say “Perfect fit” it was a wrong one. I didn’t send it back. I ordered another one, from this seller and finally got the perfect one. Very easy to install. Thank you all!!!

Everything looks good with it so far except they forgot to pack the crushwasher. I have yet to install this sensor
EDIT: It broke during installation before it reached the specified 12ft-lbs of torque

Very cheap material, I lightly tightened it and it snapped

Did not last more than a couple of months. After the first two months it would go up to about165 degrees and then drop down to 100 degrees and periodically it would raise and lower. Now it just drops to 100 degrees and stays there. Check gauge and check engine lights come on. Buy with caution.
