Fits on my Toyota Celica 2000 GT engine. So it will probably fit the 2000-05 Celica GT. Will not fit the GT-S model. That’s a different belt. If your engine belt squeaks or squeaks on startup, you will need a new belt soon. It is a fairly easy in stall. Don’t let the dealer charge you $100 for a 20 minute job. If you can do an oil change, you can do this. Just my opinion. Jack car up. Remove passenger side front wheel. remove 2 screws and 1 clip to lower the fender liner. Note belt orientation. You need a long 19mm wrench. Use the wrench to loosen the belt tension and push the belt off pulley. From there, work in reverse and you’re done.

This is an excellent accessory belt and highly recommended. They look and feel of superior quality and perform excellently in my car. I had to change out my old cracked belt after around 130,000 KMs and this item fit the bill perfectly. No more squeals and everything is driven without slippage. The Poly-V pattern will also lengthen the lifespan of the belt since it would be less prone to cracking.

Good price. About $10-15 cheaper than auto part stores for the same item. Appears to be a high-quality belt made in the UK, the only concern I have is that it’s 5 years old and has been sitting in a warehouse that long. I will probably just keep it as an emergency belt for now in case the one I have fails. I was replacing the alternator before this new belt arrived so I ended up reusing my old belt.

I got a regular belt from auto zone for my 2000 toyota corolla and it made noise for a while.I got sick of it so i got online and read some reviews.It seemed goodyear gatorback belts stopped the noise better then any other in the reviews but my parts stores(o’reilly,auto zone,advanced auto)didn’t carry goodyear belts any more.So i went to autozone and got the Dayco Poly-Rib belt with the W groove because some people said that stopped belt noise.It worked for 2 weeks and then started making noise again but not as bad as before.So i went ahead and ordered a gatorback from amazon.Got it pretty fast.I put the belt on and the noise stopped.I waited a few weeks and still no noise.Its been a few months and its still good.So if you are thinking about getting the dayco or any other belt to stop that annoying squeal noise just get one of these instead,they do work.Its sad that dayco just bought the parts stores out on a lot of products and good ones like the gatorback are no longer available through them.Its worth the wait.

Item shows a gatorback, knowing gatorback was bought out by continental, I figured it was the ELITE. NO! This is just a regular continental belt.
NOT the special quite ELITE belt I was hoping for!

Excellent Goodyear serpentine belt for $25! Car passed inspection this year but the guy said the belt should be replaced soon. The estimate for him to do the job was several hundred dollars. I looked it up and found this part for $25. After looking over the job (2000 Corolla), I was a simple matter of moving the idler arm, removing the old, installing the new. Of course things rarely work out like they should. This is one thing that did. Holding a wrench to keep the idler loose, I removed the old belt. Holding the idler again looped the new belt on. Test run, all good. Hardest part was making sure it was routed correctly around all the pulleys. In all, about 20 minutes!

I bought to replace it for another cheap serpentine belt that a mechanic installed when I went to go fix my car. It instantly got rid of the squeaking noise and it hasn’t given me problems. I highly recommend it if you have squeaking due to a cheap or worn out belt or even if you just want to put in a new belt that won’t give you problems.
Also it does fit a Celica 2000 GT. Its very important that you make sure that your car has an A/C installed, if it does not then it will NOT fit. I have never seen a Celica without an A/C but make sure either way. I will update this further on as the belt gets used more.
Update: 1 year after use and the belt is still working flawlessly. There’s slight signs of wear but that’s common with anything.
