Dilly Dahlia –
Installs as expected, buy doesn’t seem as robust or stiff as the OEM filter. I would worry about this filter being as effective on such a critical part of the hybrid system.
Sam –
Good product, fits perfectly to my RAV4

most do not know that you have this filters and do not change them, if you want to extend the life of your battery this is a must and it is easy to do.
Randsom –
Flimsy becuause it’s not OEM. The sides are too weak and they will not form to the edge of the housing, therefore allowing air around the filter. I guess I will have to pay more for OEM.

Tested on 2021 RAV4 Prime: the filter looks like the mount points are all located in the correct locations, and the footprint is nearly identical to OEM. However, the filter material is a bit less stiff, and the filter pleats are not folded as tightly as OEM. This means that the small vanes that are supposed to slip between the pleats get caught and the filter doesn’t sit flush against the intake.
I expect that some dust will get around the edges of this filter. I tried multiple times to get it to sit flush and failed every time. Keep in mind that the service manual states that the original filter is meant to be vacuumed indefinitely to be renewed, so replacement is not strictly necessary.
