These were pretty easy to install, and they fixed my dumb modern EPA vent less gas cans. No more spending 15 minuted to empty a 5 gallon jug. They seal well. I know they will degrade over time, but they are just as good as the ones on the old style gas cans. When they do break I can get more as they are cheaply priced. It’s well worth it to not have to spend 15 minutes holding a 5 gallon can while the fuel slowly chugs out.

These will ruin your gas cans. Don’t buy. They don’t come with any type of o ring to seal it up when you drill a hole. Sure it allows air in making pouring gas easier but it’s also going to make it 100xs easier for gas to come out the other end also.

I have a number of older fuel cans which have these vent caps on them…. or, rather “had” them on. Over the years they’ve broken off. These are not only good replacements for those which were broken but also foe my newer cans which didn’t come with any. Installation was quick and worked like a charm.
