Batteries are holding up so far this winter in our basement with this charger/maintainer. Gone thru multiple cycles and still strong.

Been using my 1st unit for years. Just purchased my 2nd.
I have been using the 1st unit on single independent batteries of various size.
The 2nd unit is used on four 8AHr batteries wired in series as part of a custom UPS system.
Occasionally, the 1st unit didn’t automatically restart all batteries after a power outage. Hopefully this will not happen with the 2nd unit. Time will tell…
(update) The 2nd unit suffers the same startup problem that my 1st unit has. After a power outage, when power is restored the unit does not always restart all channels that were running before the power outage. You must monitor the device and restart the channels that did not start back up. I wish they would fix this!

Bought 2 of these chargers for my gem car. I have 6 12 volt batteries to make 72 volts. I installed these on the car hooked up permanently they are awsome. Each battery gets its own charge i get way more battery life now and each baterry gets the same exact charge when done charging. @ d.collins. you have junk batteries thats your problem. My chargers work great. Glad I went with these

It was an excellent purchase and does what I need it to do!

This is the second charger we’ve bought from this brand. Both chargers worked for a couple months and then each bank got very difficult to use. First, the select buttons got super finicky, and then you wouldn’t be able to start a charge at all. This last one we had for about 8 months before it became totally unusable.
I don’t think we just got a bad product because the previous charger did the same thing. I was hoping this time it would be different, but no. It’s equally bad.

We bought this charger for our farm truck which has four batteries and was constantly going dead over the winter. It has been extremely useful and reliable ever since. It’s kept that truck batteries topped up, and it’s been very useful when we need to charge or maintain the dual batteries in our PowerStrokes, too. It has four independent charge circuits, and each one independently supports normal or AGM mode. It has several self protection circuits to detect improper connection, battery over or under charge, etc. It works in extreme heat, extreme cold, and the rain and frost don’t seem to bother it. We’ve been very pleased with it. If there’s one complaint about it, it’s that if the batteries to be charged are too low, it will not charge them. You will need to find a way to get some power into the batteries before it will start charging. We use jumper cables to a known good battery to sort of “trick” the charger into starting, but once it does start charging, it’ll fully charge even a totally flat battery in a day or so. It’s not a fast charger, it’s 2amps per battery circuit, and it doesn’t have a jump starter function. But if you have the time to allow the charger to work for a few hours or overnight, it’ll fully charge just about anything, including four totally flat 1300CCA 6TAGM batteries overnight. This is a great charger and I highly recommend it.

This multiple battery maintainer. Does a fine job and it’s worked flawlessly so far? It’s also very easy to operate and you can tell what’s going on from the front

Use this for a set of batteries I have in a series. It was a good price and seems to be a good quality. The reason for 4-stars – You have to start and stop each battery separately, since I am not using individual this is more of a hassle for me. Also, I do not like the clips that connects to battery – I have always had chargers with clamps!

All 4 zones work well and are independent from each other ….. easy to use
