The part arrived very well packaged within it’s box, and then inside an Amazon box with plenty of cushion. The replacement, with the help of a YouTube video to ensure I wasn’t about to break something, was very easy. There are three screws to remove on the assembly and the rest is popping off plastic trim “screws” which just press on and pull off. You will need a little muscle to get off your old part if it’s old, and to get your new one properly placed. The gas cap has a rubber gasket around it so that the part slips over easily, so if you’re looking at it and wondering how the gas receptacle fits within it, it’s just going to flex as it’s put into place.
After all is said and done, this was a really easy repair you can easily do in about twenty minutes with a couple of common household tools.
