i keep one in each car just in case i should need it. seems to be solid construction and heavier wire than many similar, non-coil, units.

A 6 foot stretch? very tight recoil, would make a good sling shot its so tight, if you hold it tight and pull all you can, 6′ forget it! if you want a usable 2 or 3 feet distance this works, any more I’d use a longer rated cord. Does seem durable though. If you plugged this into your cig lighter and pulled 4 feet, you best be wearing a hard hat and a face shield because the end is going to be flying back at you

It is heavy, and will try and stay coiled, so stretching it will try and unplug the socket

It’s sturdy, efficient, really good for the pricing. You must know it doesn’t really expand that much as the coil is very sturdy.
