The battery terminal end was a very good fit, basically an O.E.M replacement. Very pleased.

Worked great replacing the corroded terminals on my 2007 Dodge Nitro. Exactly the same as what was on there from the factory. The last ones were on there 13 years before the acid got to them so these should outlast the vehicle. Most parts sites said 5161305AA and 5161306AA were the wrong parts for my vehicle, and I had to replace the whole wire harness to replace the terminals. If that’s Chrysler’s position, they lie… these are the right ends for an ’07 Nitro, and apparently many more vehicles than they admit. Easy to replace with just a ratchet. They don’t come with new nuts for the top studs that the wire harness mounts to, so if you need them too order some. I wiped mine off and reused them.

I searched for a negative terminal and what I received was to9 big and would not maintain proper conductivity.

Bang on part, just what I needed.

Perfect replacement for the battery terminal on my Town and country minivan. I love that they are using these parts now. The old method was to replace the entire cable when it corroded on the terminal. This was expensive and a lot of work in some cases when the cable branched off to 5-6 different places on the car. This is a big step forward in my opinion and all manufactures should use this.
One inevitable truth about car batteries is that eventually they will leak. I had a leak on my new car when it was about 6 months old.
The Permatex battery sealer is a good thing to have on hand. If you use it sparingly, it should be enough for 100 batteries. It won’t stop every leak but it will put a bandaid on it for a while in almost every case.
You do have to keep up on the maintenance though. If you let your terminal corrode too much it may spread past this part that is easily replaceable or drip down on other things an cause more problems.
