There are many things to like, but not quite enough to be 5 stars. I love the quality. Before finding this I used plenty of cheap brushes where the brush would eventually come off over time, or the bar would bend.
Pros:
Does not scratch my rims (Audi A4).
Strong, flexible handle. (But I will see how long this lasts).
It feels like the brush isn’t going to come off anytime soon. (Unlike cheap brushes and I’ve tried many).
Con:
The handle bars are too thin. It’s uncomfortable to use for very long.
The brush on the biggest brush is a little too short. If the brush were just a little longer it would make cleaning wide rims easier.
The one thing that bothers me somewhat is the thickness of the handles. Maybe it’s middle age setting in? I think that if the bar on the long brush were thicker and longer it would make it much easier to clean the barrels of my rims.
Despite this handle flaw these brushes are worlds better than the junk found at PepBoys or Autozone. I’m going to look for a longer brush from the same company. If I find one I will boost this review to 5 stars. The long brush is perfect for my wife’s Civic, but not long enough for my A4.

The price for three brushes seemed kinda crazy, but I decided to “go off the deep end” with respect to car care again after 10 years of not really being as particular, so I picked these up because the reviews were good. There’s a reason the reviews are good. These are good. I use these with some Sonax wheel cleaner and I essentially only have to do a vigorous wipe with these and the wheels are spotless. This package has an almost perfect mix of sizes (around the lug nuts on a couple of my cars the space is too small for even the small one). The big one makes a quick surface wipe a snap without even having to bend down much and then does a great job of getting way back behind the spokes (smaller ones between caliper and wheel unless your caliper is crazy tight to the wheel). Great cleaning the car, easy to hose off to clean these… Heck, even the kids can help clean the wheels!

the set works wonder for the diamond cut alloy wheels. Life made easy with these awesome set of three, the cleaning is so fast and simple. Great tool set, very innovative a must for all detailers. will definitely post about the sturdiness and the quality in due course as I have used them for couple of cars but how long the wheel woolies last is a test.. lets see I will come back in about 6 months for the update. regards, Amit

I’ve been using the wheel woolies at the dealership I work at for about a week now. Overall I’m very pleased with the quality of them and they held up well to the daily abuse of being used in a dealership service department.
Like others, I was a little worried about the fibers coming out but so far I’ve seen only one or two fibers here and there, probably because of intense use around rotors or rotor shields. But nothing alarming. I store them in my wheel bucket for the entirety of my shift (about 10 hours) and wring them out to dry when my shift ends. The adhesive or whatever holding the wool to the plastic shafts seems to be solid. And of course because the shaft is plastic it will not swell up or break down with prolonged use in the water.
They hold a lot of soapy water which is good for washing away break dust as you go and have made cleaning inside the wheel drums a breeze. They are a bit heavy and the handle flexes when fully soaked but I’ve noticed little to no warping in the plastic handle, which is sturdy for its size. You’d really have to bend these to break them.
And like others I do wish the other smaller ones were a bit larger but they are still good for lug nuts and around crevices, calipers and spokes.

THESE ARE AMAZING!!!
I have the BMW ZCP Competition wheels on my M3 and they are full of nooks and crannies that are a PITA to clean. My wheels are powdercoated flat black, so I’m very careful with what chemicals and scrubbing utensils I use on them, as the matte paints show scratches and over-rubbed areas (glossy) more easily than gloss paints do.
These wheel woolies are soft enough to not damage the finish, and compliant enough to get in the tight cracks and corners. They do a great job scrubbing off breakdust, and even the plastic handle is gentle enough that if you press too hard you or push past the wool area, you aren’t going to hurt anything.
They are a little pricey, but totally worth it IMHO.

I love that there are different sizes it is very rare that there are wheels where I can’t clear the wheel well areas of course that depends on the rim size and brake rotors size. The thicker brush will be the most gentle one. These are very valuable for a detailer I’ve had the original ones for years and they seem to be very durable sometimes the brake dust sheild can really cut into them but that’s just from user error. The longer brushes work great even on the widest rims. There are no metal pieces and the plastic handles help to avoid scratching your rims and the handle is very flexible making it comfortable and ergonomic. Another alternative use I have for the brushes is cleaning engine bays especially the longest brush making it easy to reach deep down inside the engine bay. If you use these properly they will last you a very long time even with harsher chemicals and they won’t shed.
Hoosiers –
Received -and used- these brushes this week. For my particular wheels I needed to use all three sizes. The large one is absolutely perfect for getting into and around the wheel hubs. The other two were very useful for the varied spoke sizes on my wheels.
Brushes are nice quality, holds a lot of water/soap and does a great job. Saved me poking fingers into tiny crevices as much…still have to take a rag to the wheels but no where near as much as before.
I hesitated on this purchase because of the price, wound up wishing I had bought them sooner.
