I purchased this power steering pump and installed on my 1998 tacoma 2.7l. Within 250 miles this pump went out howling at idle. When it went out it also took out my power steering rack. The rack alone is over $600. I returned this pump asking for a refund, and bought an OEM pump. Cheful and Amazon did nothing for me. I sent them pictures and videos of part installed. Damage it caused, as well as a receipt for the power steering rack. They just kept asking for more information. I asked what else they needed. They just say “more information”. They closed my case and withdrew my refund. DO NOT BUY PARTS ON AMAZON!

Purchased in October of 2023 for my son’s 4 runner. By January (so 3 months) the pump was already leaking and was making noise. Will never buy again. Piece of junk
