Well made unit with enough wire to get across to the car battery. Installed in the corner of a body panel to be able to plug in a trickle charger. Liked the waterproof construction and corrosion resistant plating.
The car (BMW Mini) is used for short trips which ruins the battery (dead after 3yrs!). Trickle charger plugged in after each trip extends to life to 6yrs.

Works excellent. I believe I used a 1 1/8″ but for the hole, but maybe a 1 1/4″.
Charges my phone fine, so far has remained rain proof on my motorcycle.

Cable is well made. Had it on the tractor in the elements for 9 months now and no issues. It is water tight with the seal on the plug.
